2008 was the last season that James Finnie was in charge of Veritas Vincit. In the beginning of the next year he emigrated across to Canada. James shaped Veritas into one of the best historical combat display groups ever seen. Members of Veritas, old and new, owe him thanks for giving them such a great group to be part of and founding this band of brothers (and sisters). His vision drove the group forward and although gone he will never be forgotten.
